Why is now a fantastic time to buy an Airbnb-style vacation rental property here in Maui?
Nearly all of our Airbnb-style vacation rental condominiums are vacant because it’s difficult to get here—Hawaii still requires a 14-day quarantine for all outside visitors. We’re seeing a lot of properties come on the market because their sellers aren’t seeing any rental revenue. That means all of these condominiums are on the market and available for showings. As a buyer, you have a lot of inventory to choose from, and there’s downward pressure due to the basic supply-and-demand curve.
